Anyone who knows me is well aware of the fact that I've never been anyone to do anything "half-way." And this is no exception:  on Saturday, May 2, 2020, I will say a quick prayer and take one step off the roof of the Avangrid building in Orange, Connecticut, as I begin my descent to rappel down the side of the building, a vertical drop of some 60 or so feet.  Aside from being such an avid thrill-seeker (sarcasm intended!), I am doing this in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the United Way of Greater New Haven, an organization with which I have been affiliated since 1997 (including a 13-year stint on the board of directors, which I chaired from 2006 - 2008).  Both Ruth and I have recognized the meaningful and truly impactful work that this wonderful organization makes possible in the Greater New Haven area.  I'm asking you to join me in this adventure--not by jumping over the edge with me--but by sponsoring my (hopefully, uneventful) trip to terra firma.  My personal goal is to raise at least $5,000 by April 27th.  Please consider sponsoring me in any amount which, of course, is tax-deductible.  Thanks!
